Mars MD pinpointer, an additional accessory that reduces the time to localize a small find. In practice, searching with a metal detector, the time and number of finds are directly related. The pinpointer allows you to remove a coin from the pit in seconds. It can be useful during construction and repair work to detect hidden wiring, internal utilities, hiding places, etc. It is also used to detect metal objects during the inspection of people and luggage.

It has a durable plastic case that meets the IP64 protection class, the case when you can safely dig the soil in the hole with a pin and not worry that the device will receive any damage. The pinpointer is dust and moisture resistant, but it is not designed for permanent stay under water, it is worth remembering this.

Another plus is that the Mars MD pinpointer works both in dynamics (in motion) and in static mode. This means that you simply need to bring it to the intended location of the target, and the pin will give a signal. The fundamental point is that the Mars MD sensitivity zone is located along the entire length of the search sensor, and not just at the very tip of the “pointer”. Thus, the detection zone of this pin is 360 degrees. This allows you to quickly examine, for example, the walls of the pit or the extracted soil, making fan movements with the pinpointer.

There is a function of signaling the loss. By the way, between the battery cover and the body of the device there is a plastic ring with a special fastening hole for a safety cord, so you have to try very hard to lose the Mars MD pinpointer. And of course, a belt holster is included.
